Iconic directors of music videos

One iconic director of music videos in Eric Wareheim, who directed music videos including Beach House, 'Wishes' and MGMT, 'The Youth'. In both of these music videos, Wareheim decided to use bright colours in the music video, which fits with his comedy act of Tim and Eric. Wareheim is an iconic director as his music videos are very distinctive and bold, matching the comical element of his personality. This can be especially highlighted in the music video for MGMT's 'The Youth', where is it relatable to the 80s.  As clearly shown in the music video for 'The Youth', the members of the band have bright clothing with glitter, which is relatable back to the 80's.

Another iconic director of music videos is Floria Sigismira, who directed music videos of bands including: The Runaways (Cherry Bomb) and The Tea Party (A certain slant of light). In the music videos that she produces, there is a certain element of a gothic nature about them, linking into the rock genre of music. This is very distinctive and relatable to her.
